Aida Baldayo

Aida is a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in a small town just north of sunny Valencia. She holds a degree in Spanish Language and Literature and a Master’s in Secondary Education Teacher Training, both from the Universitat de València.

In class, Aida aims to create a positive and energetic environment to keep her students engaged and motivated. She values building strong connections with them, making sure they feel supported and included throughout their learning journey.

Aida is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and Catalan daily, and has a big passion for languages. Besides Spanish and Catalan, she speaks English and French, and has also studied Latin and Ancient Greek, enriching her understanding of grammar and the evolution of her native languages.

Having lived in Ireland for over a year, Aida has become deeply connected with the country. She’s learned about Irish history, reads books by Irish authors, and has even taken steps to learn some Irish, which has helped her see some connections with Spanish grammar. In her free time, Aida enjoys spending time with friends, going on walks and runs, and exploring her interests in history, languages, and literature.
