My name is Claire and I have just graduated from the PME in DCU qualified in the subjects History, CSPE and Politics and Society. I completed a joint honours degree in History and Human Development before starting the PME. I am very passionate about all my subjects, especially Politics and Society as it allows me to establish student voice and democracy which is something I like to implement in my classroom. Establishing a student-centred education in my classroom is very important to me in my teaching methodologies.
Growing up I was a member of Billy Barry stage school, and up until my late teenage years I performed in many showcases and the Cheerios panto. My love for Dance and Musicals is something I can’t wait to get involved with in Belmayne ETSS (for example the school musical!). Outside of school life I love going on walks with friends, attending the gym and getting my weekend fix of coffee. Also you can find me supporting the Boys in Blue at Croke Park throughout the year!
