Ian studied Irish Studies and Religious Studies in Mater Dei Institute of Education before completing his PDE in UCD to become an English and Religious Education teacher. He moved to the UK to teach English before returning to Dublin to work in Cabinteely Community School. He has a Graduate Diploma in Inclusive Education, Learning Support and Special Education from DCU and a Postgraduate diploma in School leadership from the University of Limerick. He was most recently an AEN Coordinator in a community school in Dublin. ”I am delighted to join Belmayne ETSS during a very exciting time in its development and believe that by working with all stakeholders we can create an enjoyable learning environment for students and a thriving school community.”
