Jane is currently teaching English, Philosophy and Ethical Education, as well as fulfilling the role of Support for Learning Link Administrator for First Year. She has an Honours B.A. degree in English and Religious Education from DCU and is excited to join the team at Belmayne ETSS this year!

Jane has always had a passion for building relationships with students, parents and colleagues. She is an advocate for student wellbeing through the care and nurture shown to them in the school setting. Jane has a passion for her subjects and aims to bring topics to life in the classroom. Her philosophy of education centres around motivating student interest in her subjects, the topic of her final year thesis, through active learning and differentiation strategies to suit the needs of each individual student.

In her spare time Jane enjoys reading, sea swims and hiking.
