Joe has just recently joined Belmayne ETSS and is excited to join the team!

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education and English from DCU. After completing his Bachelor’s Degree, he undertook a Postgraduate Diploma in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care in DCU and is due to graduate this Autumn. 

Having availed of additional support himself for dyslexia in school, Joe has always had an interest in assisting AEN students. This interest became a goal after Joe completed Summer Provision with some students.

Joe never let his dyslexia hold back his passion for English. His passion for English was sparked by his own teacher who encouraged him, saying that; “anything is possible with hard work and passion”. This is something which Joe continues to tell the students that he meets throughout his career.

Outside of the classroom, Joe loves walking, listening to music and travelling. One of his favourite holiday destinations is New York!
