Lorna Reilly is an inclusion assistant in the Belmayne ETSS. Lorna joined the team in November 2021.
Lorna has over thirteen years’ experience working with children and young people. She holds a
qualification in Childcare, Special Needs Assisting level 5 and Special Needs Assisting level 6. She has
also engaged in continuous professional development completing a variety of courses including but
not limited to:
- Children and Grief Certificate
- Building Children’s Self-Confidence and Self-Esteem Certificate
- Children First e-learning programme – guidance for protection and welfare of children
- Paediatric First Aid
- Manual Handling
Lorna has a passion for creating an inclusive environment using her experience, knowledge, and
skills to meet the needs of children she supports.
Her interests include craft making and baking. She looks forward to sharing these interests with the
team and students in Belmayne ETSS.
