Belmayne Educate Together Secondary School is a developing Droichead voluntary secondary school going into our 6th year in Aug 2024. We will have 1st to 6th years. We are currently recruiting teachers who are passionate about their subject, who are truly student-centred, who are hard-working and want to be part of a team that empowers students both in and out of the classroom. For the 3rd year in a row we have been awarded the Trinity School of Distinction by Trinity College.
Everyone is addressed by first name in our school, there is no school uniform and we promote inclusivity, innovation and restorative practice. We encourage CPD and support teachers to lead projects they are passionate about. As a growing school, there are an unusually high number of opportunities to lead learning and to help to develop school culture. Our rapidly increasing enrolment also means that promotional prospects are very good.
We have an open door policy, use a cross-curricular and team-teaching approach whenever possible and use a virtual learning environment (G Suite for Education) to communicate and share resources. We will develop our own resources along with the use of textbooks and students will have iPads. We are committed to having high standards and high expectations in our learning and teaching.
There are also lots of promotional opportunities opening up over the next few years in the school.
